a new book i'm reading, and despite an occasionally very snobbish tone, i'm learning so much and intend to apply it all to my new painting. which i will post a picture of when it's farther along.

i made this about a year ago now and i long to sell it to someone who would hang it and enjoy it, since at the moment it sits sadly on the floor in a corner of our guest bedroom. it's pretty big, maybe 3' x 2'. i'd sell for the absolute minimum - $500 - far less than the actual cost of time and materials.
